In conjunction with the Louisiana State Uniform Construction Code Council, updated editions of the fire protection and life safety codes and standards are effective on July 1, 2017. See memo for a listing of the referenced codes and standards.

These products shall be used only in fire protection systems that are designed and installed in accordance with current, applicable National Fire Protection Association (NFPA 13, 13D, 13R, etc.) standards, or equivalent standards, and in accordance with applicable building and fire codes

The 2022 update addresses several changes to their NFPA 13 Standard for the Installation of Sprinkler Systems that directly impact pallet racking systems. NARA is authorized to establish, maintain and operate records centers for Federal agencies under 44 U.S.C. 2907. NARA is authorized, under 44 U.S.C. 3103, to approve a records center that is maintained and operated by an agency. NARA is also authorized to promulgate standards, procedures, and guidelines to Federal agencies with respect to the storage of their records in commercial records storage facilities.
